The results for Campaign’s Global Agency of the Year Awards are in, and Rethink had the honor of bringing home two major accolades– Independent Agency of the Year, and Creative Leader of the Year for CCO and National Managing Partner Aaron Starkman.
Campaign attributes Rethink’s ‘people, product, profit’ prioritization, ambitious goals, and dedication to building a solid culture as key to the agency’s success in “one of the most challenging years in business”. This success was achieved by reinforcing the agency’s key values– to lead with respect, to be relentless, and to pursue what’s rewarding, which yielded work that has resulted in global recognition for both its creativity and effectiveness.
As Creative Leader of the Year, Starkman was praised for his prioritization of Rethinkers, and the many measures he and the leadership team put in place to support them.
Creative work that Campaign praised spanned the Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal offices, and included a string of Kraft-Heinz hits, IKEA’s Cristiano Ronaldo water bottle, and Over The Bridge’s ‘Lost Tapes of the 27 Club’.
