Jackson Byrne

Toronto

Jackson got his start in advertising at age six, as a hand model in an ad for Reboot action figures. It didn’t take him long to realize his real passion lay behind the camera, or more specifically, next to the craft services table. A career as a copywriter beckoned.

A graduate of Dalhousie University, and then the Humber College copywriting program, Jackson previously worked at Grip Limited in Toronto on cars, fast food, travel and banking.

His work has garnered plenty of press headlines and shoutouts from late night hosts like Stephen Colbert, but his proudest advertising achievement was to have his work featured on NPR’s weekly news quiz Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!

Jackson fancies himself a better athlete than he actually is and would love to sub for your softball team.
